Wma to mp3?

is there a free program out there that i can rip my cd's to mp3 and directly put them on a Memory card for a phone? instead of ripping them on one program and them converting them on another.. i've heard that realplayer does this, i just wanted to make sure from you pro's out there before i move to the next step..
