Will Labor Unions become a little stronger with a democratic congress?

Many unions are down to barely any benefits and lower pay and also much less representation. Negotiations result in Strikes that don't get resolved and jobs become lost. Do you think that unions are on their way out or that they may make a comeback under democratic congress?
