If you have a regular cycle can you still ovulate at different times?

I had a miscarriage in March my last two cycles were 29days then back to 27 days which is my normal cycle, my question is if I have a regular 27 day cycle like clockwork, does that mean I will always ovulate at the same time? This cycle I have ewcm on cd 6-9 (currently cd 9 right now) and last cycle I had ewcm cd8-10. Before the miscarriage it seemed I ovulated anywhere from cd14-18. But I keep reading that your luteal phase never changes,so if I ovulated at different times then wouldn't my period be irregular???
