Why does my neck hurt when i breathe?

i was diagnosed with pleurisy last night because of severe chest pains when i woulod breathe. i just had a hysterectomy tuesday so i knew chest pains could be a sign of a blood clot, but fortunately it was only the pleurisy. this morning when i woke up though, the right side of my neck behind my ear hurts everytime i take a breath. im wondering if this is normal with the pleurisy or if it could be something else. or maybe im just freaking out because ive got so much going on with my body right now.
