Twilight vs. Harry Potter....?

Yeah, I don't know who declared war between Twilight and Harry Potter, but I think it's pretty lame. I read a Harry Potter book, but I couldn't get into it. The movies were good, though. I liked the Twilight series better, but the movie was kind of cheesy. I don't know why they are so often compared. Except the fact that both are teen fantasy book series that have been translated to film (and both have had Robert Pattinson in them), they're not that similar. I guess people like to complain if everyone doesn't like the same things they do.
