Should parents allow their children to wear store bought clothing?

How does a child know you love them if you don't spend hours hand sewing their garments? Each day is like a constant warm hug when a child wears hand made clothing, how could anyone deprive their offspring of that? Not to mention how racy the store bought clothing is, nothing is as suitable to a youngster as the Swiss national costume.
