Moving to the mainland?

NYC and the metro Washington, DC area have the best subway systems. You can live in Virginia on the cheap and take the subway into DC or live in Queens where you get more housing for your money in teh NYC area, but make sure you are on a subway stop in Queens or you will need a car. You might want to go to a href="http://www.usajobs.gov/" rel="nofollow"http://www.usajobs.gov//a and apply for federal jobs for wherever you want to go (especially with DC) so you have a job. You can also go to Yahoo yellow pages, find companies that are in your field and contact them about job openings.
