Fish compatibility question?

i have a very small fuzzy dwarf lionfish, not even 2 inches. i read somewhere that predators stay away from dragonets because they have a poisonous slime coating. the lionfish will eventually grow about 6 inches, the dragonet about 4. could i get the dragonet? i am able to feed him and i am aquiring one that is already on brine shrimp so i am fine there.
